| Loading Unit | Analogue Compression Testing Machines are manufactured with a fully welded heavy-duty construction consisting of a cross head, rigid base, and solid side plates for maximum stability and long service life. The hydraulic jack is securely fixed to the base frame. The compression platens are hardened, precision ground, and polished for accurate and reliable load application. The upper platen is provided with a self-aligning arrangement to ensure uniform loading during testing. Suitable spacers are supplied for convenient testing of specimens of various sizes. |
| Pumping Unit | The machine is equipped with an electrically operated hydraulic pumping unit. Loads are measured through Bourdon tube type load gauges calibrated against certified proving rings. The load gauges are fitted with a maximum load pointer for peak load indication.
The electrically operated hydraulic power pack is designed with a dual-stage pump system. The two-speed pump enables rapid platen approach for daylight closure, eliminating the need for a lead screw mechanism. In electrically operated pumping units, the load gauge is fitted with micro switches that automatically switch off the motor when the load approaches the maximum gauge capacity, thereby preventing overloading. Safety relays are incorporated to prevent automatic restarting of the motor after power failure. The pumping unit is also provided with a control knob for pace rate adjustment, allowing experienced operators to effectively control the loading rate by observing the load gauge readings during testing. |
