| Test Procedure | The slump test apparatus is used to determine the consistency and workability of freshly mixed concrete. The test is carried out by filling the slump cone with fresh concrete in three equal layers, each layer being compacted with a steel tamping rod.After filling, the concrete surface is levelled with the top of the cone. The slump cone is then carefully lifted vertically upward, and the slump of the concrete specimen is immediately measured. |
